Mr. Tormey has over fifteen years engineering design experience coupled with ten years product management and marketing experience. He has worked in the semiconductor, biomedical and biotechnology industries. Having helped start two software companies, Mr. Tormey is uniquely qualified to assist inventors and entrepreneurs bring their products to market.

Mr. Tormey's advanced degree in business and years of software development experience provide an emphasis on software patents and their related business methods that is rare among patent agents and attorneys.

Mr. Tormey has an MBA from St. Mary's College in California, and a BSEE from San Francisco State University (Magna Cum Laude). He is registered to practice patent law with the US Patent Office (#57,761).
